I wouldn&#039;t consider myself a WordPress expert by any means, so this might not be the best way to do it.

But all I did was comment out (but putting // in front) the line:

add_filter(&#039;the_content&#039;, &#039;wptexturize&#039;);

in the default-filters.php file.
