I try to keep this blog on topic (you know Javascript and web-related things) but this is just so completely and utterly ridiculous that I just couldn't stop myself from writing a quick post about it.
Jack Lewis apparently has a blog. About what, I have no idea, and apparently I'll never know because I use Firefox as my web browser. And Jack, the genius that he is, has decided to block all Firefox users because of Ad Block Plus, a plugin for Firefox that rids users of annoying, unwanted ads. Jack blocks Firefox users whether or not the user is using Ad Block Plus!
I don't use the plugin personally. In fact, I had never even heard of it until I came across Jack's Little Tantrum which, by the way, does a far better job of conveying the stupidity of doing something like this way better than I could have done in my own writing.

So using Tivo to skip past commercials on my TV shows is "no less than stealing" as well? They better start figuring out how to block Tivo from accessing cable! If Firefox is such a "small percentage of the internet," what are they losing out on anyway?
