With Valentine's Day coming up, Apple has announced a new, pink iPod nano to its line-up.
The new 8GB iPod nano "costs $199 and includes free engraving on the back..." (emphasis mine)
Free engraving? Gee, I wonder where they got that idea.

Apple have been offering engraving on iPods for a good few years now, and for portions of that time it's been free.
Well then I stand corrected.
But they sure didn't seem to advertise that fact very much until now, as I had never before heard a word about it (and I do tend to follow what Apple is up to).
Actually, I've just checked the Zune offering and it seems they're doing images. Apple have offered text engraving for ages (at least 4 years now), but not image engraving to my knowledge.
